Rules for using redd
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the redd application, website, account, subscriptions, and related services.
Last updated: July 26, 2026
Important health notice: redd is a personal tracking and education tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using redd, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your login credentials, and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer, share, or use another person’s account without authorization.
3. What redd provides
redd helps you record, import, synchronize, organize, and view health, fitness, nutrition, training, medication, symptom, laboratory, and wellness information. It may calculate scores, trends, summaries, comparisons, or educational explanations from the information available to it.
Features and calculations may change as we improve the Service. Availability can vary by device, operating system, region, permission, subscription, and connected health platform.
4. Health and medical disclaimer
redd does not diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat, or cure disease. Scores, targets, ranges, trends, correlations, and educational content are informational only. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your individual circumstances.
- Do not disregard or delay professional medical advice because of redd.
- Consult a qualified clinician before making medical, medication, or treatment decisions.
- Do not use redd to calculate or determine medication dosages.
- For an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Wearables, connected platforms, laboratory sources, manual entries, and measurement devices can contain errors. You are responsible for checking important information against its original source.
5. Your information and permissions
You retain your rights in information you provide. You give redd the limited permission necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that information to operate and improve the Service for you, subject to our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to submit information to redd. Do not upload another person’s health or personal information without their lawful authorization.
6. Subscriptions and free trials
Paid access is sold as an automatically renewing subscription through Apple or Google. The purchase screen displays the available plan, localized price, billing period, trial or introductory offer when eligible, and renewal terms before you confirm.
- Free trials: Eligibility and duration are determined by the store. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to the paid plan shown at purchase.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Your store account is charged according to the terms shown in the purchase sheet.
- Cancellation: Manage or cancel through your App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid or trial period.
- Refunds: Apple or Google processes payments and refund requests under its applicable policies.
Deleting the redd app or your redd account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through Apple or Google.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights through the Service;
- access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
- interfere with security, availability, rate limits, or normal operation;
- introduce malware or use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service;
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- misrepresent redd output as professional medical advice; or
- use redd to provide clinical care or make high-risk decisions for another person.
8. Third-party services
redd relies on or connects with services such as Apple Health, Health Connect, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, product catalogs, and infrastructure providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services or for data errors, interruptions, or changes originating from them.
9. Ownership and license
redd and its software, designs, branding, scoring systems, text, and other content are owned by redd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes.
10. Service changes and availability
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or data source. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of material changes or discontinuation.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using redd or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a material breach of these terms.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, redd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or decisions made in reliance on Service output. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
